Obituary for Dorothy M. Davner (Doughty)

Dorothy M. Davner, 74

EAST LIVERPOOL – Dorothy M. Davner, of East Liverpool Road, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Orchards of East Liverpool. She was 74.

Born at home in East Liverpool, February 2, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Clarence W. and Mary Ann Doughty. A lifetime area resident, she worked for the Evening Review and Morning Journal as well as Giant Eagle. For many years, she and her family operated a greenhouse on their property.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Davner. The couple married June 24, 1981. She was also preceded in death by a sister Wanda Jean Humphreys and a brother Robert L. Doughty.

She is survived by her son, John Eaton and his wife, Cammie, of East Liverpool, and two grandchildren, Ashley M. Faulkner and her husband, Joe, and Drew J. Eaton, as well as two great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Faulkner and Keremy Eaton.

Friends may visit Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastors Bob and Pam Kidd will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
