Obituary for Keith A. Anderson

Keith A. Anderson, 79

EAST LIVERPOOL – Keith A. Anderson, of East Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the East Liverpool City Hospital. He was 79.

Born in Wellsville, September 16, 1939, he was a son of the late Perry and Helen Humphrey Anderson. A lifetime area resident, he was a graduate of Wellsville High School where he was a member of the football team.

A Korean War Veteran, he served in the U.S. Army. He worked at the former Crucible Steel Company until 1982 and for many years was a well-known DJ in the area.

He is survived by his children: a daughter, Loretta L. Anderson of East Liverpool and a son, Buddy Anderson of East Liverpool. There are six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Keith William Anderson.

Friends may visit Saturday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Rev. Gary LeMasters will conduct a funeral service Saturday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home where the Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors.
