Obituary for Maralyn L. Winters (Danley)
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Maralyn L. (Danley) Winters, 83, of East Liverpool passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at East Liverpool City Hospital Emergency Room following a sudden illness.
Maralyn was born in East Liverpool on June 16, 1936 a daughter of the late Merrill and Margaret (Bevington) Danley.
Maralyn worked for American Paper Products prior to her marriage. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius. Maralyn enjoyed playing the organ at home.
Maralyn was preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. “Mike” Winters; sister Patricia Saucer and daughter-in-law Lisa (Carnes) Winters.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Margaret “Peggy” Chesnut and her husband Dana of East Liverpool and Patricia Winters of East Liverpool; four sons Christopher Winters of East Liverpool, Timothy Winters and his wife Regina of East Liverpool, Richard “Rick” Winters and his wife Tami of Beaver Falls and Steven Winters and his wife Charity of East Liverpool; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends may visit Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Maralyn’s name may be directed to Ohio State School for the Blind, 5220 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
