Obituary for Ramon Neil "Ray" McCullough

Ramon Neil McCullough, 84

CHESTER, WV – Ramon Neil “Ray” McCullough, of River Street, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Weirton. He was 84.

Born in East Liverpool, September 1, 1934, he was a son of the late John Mark and Nora Shaw McCollough. He attended East Liverpool High School and worked at TS&T and Ohio Brass where he retired. He was a faithful member of the Virginia Avenue Church of Christ. He previously served as a deacon at the former Bradshaw Avenue Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife Viola Mick McCullough. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Marcus and Paul McCullough, as well as a sister, Mary Wright.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Boswell Bonnell McCullough at home. The couple married August 4, 2000. He also leaves a son, Kenneth McCullough and his wife, Lyndee, of South Carolina, a step-daughter, Kita Miller and her husband, Bill, of Brookston, Indiana, and a step-son, Doug Bonnell and his wife, Renee, of Brownsboro, Alabama.

He also leaves behind five grandchildren: Aaron McCullough, Drew McCullough, Chad Miller, Morgan Miller, Jocey Lowe, Amanda Bonnell, Tyler Bonnell and Elijah Bonnell, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit Sunday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Evangelist Rico Brown will conduct a funeral service Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Virginia Avenue Church of Christ, Chester.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Virginia Avenue Church Fellowship Hall for a luncheon.
