Obituary for Roberta G. Dunn

Roberta G. Dunn, 92

EAST LIVERPOOL – Roberta G. Dunn, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday morning, November 14, 2018 at the Calcutta Health Care Center. She was 92.

Born in East Liverpool, April 1, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Charles Fogle and Virtie Gae Hatcher Keener. She lived in this area all her life and was a member of the Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. A homemaker, she was an auxiliary member of the Beagle Club at one time.

Her husband, Kenneth P. Dunn, preceded her in death on March 21, 2000. The couple married October 15, 1943. She is survived by two daughters, Janet Powell, and Alice Russell and her husband, Charles, and a daughter-in-law, Teresa Dunn, all of East Liverpool. There are five grandchildren: Robert Headley and his wife, Robin, James Headley and his wife, Leanne, Elizabeth Edenfield and her husband, Brian, Connie Dunn Williams and her husband, Tom, and Clark Dunn and his wife, Marcie; as well as five step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Four sisters also survive, Jackie Salatino, Donna White, Darlene Snyder and Becky Verkest and a brother, Darryl Baumgarner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Roy Dunn, a son-in-law Tom Powell, a step-father Delmar Baumgarner, four brothers, Clinton, Denny, Delmar and Delbert Baumgarner, and a half-brother Lee Fogle.

Rev. Dr. Vel Vais will conduct a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Dawson Funeral Home where friends may visit 2 hours prior to the service.

Burial will be at Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
